If you had chosen to continue with 0.8:1 grout for this period it is time to thicken to 0.6:1. Otherwise far too
much water is being injected.
If you were using 0.6:1 for it, it would desirable to thicken further for the next period, but it would not be
essential. If you assume you are using a grout mixer able to handle 0.5:1 grout (such as a high-shear,
high-speed mixer, as described elsewhere on this site and in the Guide) then it would be best to thicken to this
mix.
